ReplyDeleteWe are so happy for you both. Thank you for the invitation, but unfortunately we are leaving on a "senior citizen" cruise on January 2. Otherwise it would be a great excuse to visit NYC. Our children think we are crazy to be going on this senior citizen cruise, and I am having reservations about it also. I am used to taking our art students on trips, and we talk about the use of alchol, non-use of drugs, being aware of your surroundings, not leaving anyone alone, especially if they have been drinking, etc. But when we met for this trip, the only thing they talked about was making sure we had an extra copy of our medications and prescriptions. I looked at Sally and rolled my eyes and wondered what are we doing? But I think it will be OK as three other couples who are our friends are going. But I'm sorry we will miss your celebration.
Best of luck, and we hope you grow old together. Call us and stop over when you are back in Carrollton.
